oregon new draw system...

Forget the tag, they need to come up with hunts that spread the pts around. 100s of 1 pt draws and 4 or 5 that are 20 pts. They need to make some ok hunts for a person that wants an ok animal. They have little nov deer hunts. I am waiting a few more years and getting an antelope and elk and being done with oregon.

Yeah you can print your own tag. on regular paper you can't get wet or rub in your pocket. POS agents will no longer print them on covered paper. what a joke, they can't afford 3 cents to print a tag ? then fire an ODFW employee who doesn't do a damn thing and print my tag with that money. our game dept is a joke.
Any non res who's playing Oregon's game is getting hosed. I apply in 7 states and if I didn't live here I wouldn't. I apologize there's no excuse for our game managment incompetence in this state.

Who says you only have to print 1 tag? News Flash printers hit record sales in Oregon for Christmas. Print as many plain paper tags as you want too.
I think this will be a mess for the common hunter and a blessing for poachers and people who party hunt.
The state is in crisis mode for deer so it won't matter in a few years anyway. But I suppose the unlimited printable paper tags will help elk hunters???

Print yourself a dozen tags and keep bringing in animals until you get one checked . you might as well tell everyone to only print as many $100 bills as they need.
It's just a stupid idea.

I'm a little skeptical myself, I'm not totally sure how it will work but it seems like a bad idea. And if the people who have more knowledge than me are saying its a bad idea, its definitely going to be a disaster. But I'm sure if it doesn't work, ODFW will go back to something like the old way.
Hopefully with all the money they save with this new method, they can bring the deer population back from the brink!

The ship has sailed on this new phone and plain printed papaer tag and license system. ODFW will never go back to the old waterproof tags. They say the cost of that paper was way to much and all the machines were needed replaced and it was going to be expensive.
ODFW got this idea for the phone and plain paper tags and licenses Arkansas. Personally it doesn't matter to me there are FEW deer in this state. The ones that are left should get a pardon from ODFW and hunters until the numbers come back but that will never happen!
THERE ARE NO DEER IN THIS STATE! EVERY UNIT IS THOUSANDS OF DEER BELOW OBJECTIVE! SO STUPID!!!!

No you cannot, unless the vendor choses to do it at their own expense. and even then it will be on the same paper you have at home. just print yourself a couple dozen everyone else will.
