I just found out that my hunt'n bud, bloodycamp- has signed up here on MM.
We go back a long ways, clear back to high school and have hunted and fished all over oregon, killed quite a few bucks and bulls and have had a hell of a good time out in the woods!
Please welcome him to MM, he is a little shy at first, but if you ask him about guns, hunt'n, or good whisky he can talk your arm off!

Welcome bloodycamp. Unique name by the way, but I like it. Don't be shy, feel free to tell us all of your good hunting grounds. LOL. Anyways welcome and I look forward to hearing good hunting stories and pictures along the way.

Here i am!!!!!!! took me a while but ready to rock and roll. First of let me say to anyone that may possibly be interested, the term bloody camp doesnt stand for all the game we have harvested over the years, its nothing to do with macho---ism. My dad almost was killed with a knife injury to himself while skinny a deer. Skining a hind quarter in his lap and pulling instead of pushing ,the knife slipped and deeply cut his inner thigh. Thank god he didnt hit his artery. This happened in the early sixtys in Chiliquin. However he had his last season last year at eighty two and we had to stay good buy to a great man, father, hunten buddy and my life long friend that for fifty one years was always there for me. As outdoorsman we are unbelievably blessed to have what we have yet nothing makes it more valuable than the love we have between sharring our passion with familly and friends, God Bless all and all cherish and respect your familly and friends.

Welcome and see you around-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------support your local guzzlers. OHA life member, lapine oregon

Welcome to the forum Bloodycamp! There aren't too many Oregonians on here and we're far outnumbered by the Utards so we gotta stick together. It's good to see some action in the Oregon forum recently. Good to have you around.

What part of the state do you live in and hunt (generally)?

Good to be here and have lived here since 1959 in G.P,but now live in Ashland. My dad was from vale and his brothers live in La Grande ore and Pendleton, and still reside there. We grew up here but always hunted eastern oregon ,that was until 1980 and it was so bad hunting that we quit going over there ,Chiliquin that is.It was so good hunting back then { my dads first year in there was 1949} clear up intil the early seventies that it turned out to be very horible to watch it go down hill. We now hunt both elk and deer in the eastern oregon when we get drawn, but hunt .......{ well you get the picture }. I just hope that the O.D.F.W. CAN SOME DAY WAKE THE,.....UP AND RATIONALIZE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE NECESSITY OF MONEY AND THE NECESSITY OF THE OREGON DEER HERDS IN SOME UNITS . IM TIRED OF BEING LIED TO.
