what the story

Almost hard to believe that is an Oregon Mule deer... but no reason to doubt it other than the incredible size. I hope we get to hear the rest of this story.

Someone posted this vid on here a couple years ago and I don't think it was a youtube link, I think the guy actually posts on here if memory serves me correctly. He didn't mention specifics other than "east side" but definitely claimed it was in Oregon and an area he'd hunted for a number of years.

Either way it's a great buck and would be awesome to see it in someone's hands!

from what i can tell, he's just a 2x3 with good brown tines. granted , it's a little blurry.

we see bucks with more points than this all the time, but like they say, you gotta just quit driving on the main roads.

my new rule of thumb is-- i ABSOLUTLY WONT drive on a 4 digit road, they are way to crowded- i keep my truck on 3 digit roads( i'm talking about the numbers on the sign) or less. theres so many people driving those 4 digit roads that there are no more bucks left. i want to get into the back country where people cant take their 2 wheel drive trucks!

plus i put a brand new muffler on my jeep this year so it would be quieter, the deer dont even hear us coming!
;)

i said the pictures are blurry, geese- ok- so maybe it's a nice 3x3.

but we still see bucks bigger all the time, you just gotta have a rig that will take you to the "back country".

i wonder if thats a white tailed deer? usually with brown tines that tall they are white tailed deer. maybe it's a bench leg mule tail/ white tail cross?
i'd put my money on a white tailed deer.........

>And maybe, just maybe, park that
>rig of yours and do
>a little walking!

what? we see deer with more points than this all the time. ( i still think that one side has only 2 points on it) NOT COUNTING THE BROWN TINE, WERE NOT HUNTING WHITE TAILED DEER!

it's a nice buck though, i'd love to hear an official "T" measurement.
