Anyone Interested???

LAST EDITED ON Feb-14-12 AT 05:41PM (MST)[p]Is anyone interested in completing a 5-6 mile 18-20 obstacle race in Eugene May 12th or Portland June 30th? This would be great motivation for people to train for hunting season and meet other MM members. The info is at terrainracing(dot)com. I plan on doing the Eugene one, but not sure yet on the Portland race.

I have committed to do a "Tough Mudder" contest in Lake Tahoe in Sept "IF" I don't draw Wyoming elk.

It's a team event with 2 guys and 2 gals I work with entering.

BUT I may be able to talk them into doing Portland as a pre-test. And I will draw Wyoming so i'm just setting them up for disappointment.

What web-site did you find the race on???

I'm thinking in about 5 days I tell them I can't do the Sept one because of the WY tag but I will do the Portland one with them and they need to find another guy.

We are thinking of entering the tough mudder in Tahoe as well. I will need to wait on the tag draws before I commit. I am ok with the course distance but I am not to keen on the shock obstacle. September is hunting season anyway. There are several Triathlons in Oregon to help prepare for hunting season. We will do the Albany and Stayton races this spring. Then there is a longer distance one in Bend in July.
