Losing preferences points

Do you still lose you points if you dont apply for two years? Thought i had heard they changed this. havent been able to get ahold of ODFW, and don't have regs in front of me. Thanks

No, I read that you retain your points if you stop applying. At least that is how it is now until they change it.

No, they changed that. I thought that was the way it was too, but I spoke to ODFW a few weeks ago and they don't delete them anymore.

You use to loose your points if you didn't apply in two consecutive years. However when they jacked all of the Non-Resident prices up they reversed the rule. ODFW probably thought it would take two years for Non-Residents to cool off.
