couldn't get the other pics to upload.

I have him green scored at 4302/8"

but i'm not sure if I also get to add a mass measurment underneath his burrs? also is the greatest in side spread taken outside of his royals or outside of the beams underneath his daggers?
one more, is his tip to tip measurement from the tip of his swords or the tip of his g-6 's?

That's a nice bull. I might need you to rescore a couple of my bulls. That bull looks a lot closer to 330 than 430.

"Go hunt for meat at Walmart."

Sure I'd be happy to help you, as long as you keep adding all those spread credits, It's bound to add up to a really big number:)

Great OR bull for sure, nice work!! Thanks for sharing the pictures too! Looks like Central OR I'm guessin....? Anyway, mature 6 pt with a bow in OR is a great accomplishment.

I understand you're still figuring out the scoring thing, that bull is very nice but definitely not 430...but 300-330 is probably very close. That said, the score don't mean crap, you earned yourself a good bull and should feel great about it regardless of score IMHO.

Nice bull, but I'm thinking more around 300 +/- Heavy on the - Congrats on a nice Oregon bull however. Shooter for sure!

the calculator don't lie, and it keeps telling me 430 2/8, do you think it's off? I'll check the batteries....

LAST EDITED ON Sep-15-12 AT 03:44PM (MST)[p]Haha! The tongue-in-cheek tone of your first post seemed to be pretty obvious ("g-6's" haha!) but some apparently didn't catch it :) Congratulations on a great bull!

it's nice to see somebody caught it:)

You took all of the measurements correctly, but then to get the official score, you have to subtract 125 inches and then you would come up with 305 2/8. That's how I do it anyway.

crud! I forgot the -125!

although, for some reason this one worked out to -126 1/8
now that I re-calculated it it comes out at 304 1/8. I new that 445 bull looked a little bigger than just 12 inches.....

thanks for the heads up michael;)

I'm not sure how long they are, I measured him with a 3ft. yard stick and couldn't really get it to bend right.
