Every year it seems some people are stupid enough to camp on a watering hole that's basically for the wildlife no not a reservoir or a lake but a hole.

I was hunting the Bryant Mt. this week end, scouted it last week end and seen that the deer were using the water holes to drink, i get there opening day there's retards camped at the water holes?...

the deer numbers are dismal to say the least and these dummies camp on a hole that deer are using, frustrating....

Oregon needs to start systematically shutting down some of these units for deer cause they'll be no return of the mighty muley if they don't, I quit buying a guide license when I saw the deer herds struggling some years back and its even worse now, but no one is listening or gives a rats? just keep dishing out the dough and Game n fish will eat it up! And do nothing in the meanwhile? sad?

I am just really confused about this thread. First didnt you ask for suggestions on where to go in this unit because you had never hunted it before? You then show up in what I would call one of the worst units in Oregon and then complain. Really? I live in the unit and would not hunt it and have not hunted it for 30 years. This is primarily an agricultural unit, and it is managed for the minimum, and Bryant is one of the few publicly accessible places. I think more thought before applying would have been in order.

you must confuse easy then, i'm putting my complaint on the back of 5 years of hunting the general units plus the wagon tire unit and now the Klamath unit, perhaps you didn't read about armatures camping on a backwoods water hole...

and if you can't see how bad all the mule deer units are here in oregon then you & people like you are part of the problem, maybe your too young to remember when Utah shut down the san Juan for 5 years back in the 80's, it rebounded and still is producing big deer today...

BTW my research was done during november during the rut...

>See many deer up there this
>weekend? See any bucks
>that were killed?

i scouted it last week saw 6 doe's no bucks opener say 7 trucks no shots heard either...
