LAST EDITED ON Dec-12-12 AT 08:36AM (MST)[p]this is the second time I have purchased a handgun here in the Medford oregon, and this is the second time during the back round check they have told me I had to wait, they never give a reason just wait, well this time they said January 4th....

it seems to me they're imposing a waiting period just like Cali, illegally but no one questions them or has a way to complain.

any you guys have this problem and is there a dept to complain to? thanx Manny

Last hand gun I bought I don't recall a waiting priod. That was Big R in Redmond about 5 yars ago I think. I'm certain I walked out the door with it the day I bought it.

Actually, you might have a SS# that is one digit away from a felon and it throws a red flag.

well i just had two rifles come in today and the FFL guy says no use running them because of the delay is that true? anybody know? i want em by christmas?...
