Hi guys, any ideas on a Whitetail hunt in the North East corner...It'd be Archery and I don't mind paying a Tresspass fee...Looking to complete my Deer Slam with all West Coast Bucks...Hopefully!

My Columbia Whitetail from last season, opening day...

I would say the best whietail hunt in the state is the Baker muzzleloader hunt.

Stay thirsty my friends

Agreed, there are alot of whitetails around Baker. They are starting to spread though, I found a whitetail shed near LaGrande my brother found a nice one near John Day and I have heard of them around Long Creek. Most people don't like them around here so you would probably have some luck getting information from locals and you may just see if a landowner would let you shoot one before you bring up the possibility of a trespass fee.

Thank you, 105"...My first one in 2006, just a lot of fun to hunt and finally get to hunt...

Walla Walla unit has a bunch of white tails. There are several options, the regular rifle tag and 2 600 series hunts, orchards and west blue mountains. One of those 600 series tags is a primitive weapon tag but not sure which one.
