Well Zim....I was hoping you put in for WW with your 16 pts. That way my 15 pts had a chance. Good luck, butthead, lol.

nocal, Sorry about that. Would be nice to know if a tag is available this year. HF claims there is not, but 56 x 5% seems like 2 to me. There was one other guy in the point pool who did not draw last year, so I am figuring my odds at 50/50? The guy that did draw was a MM member. I think he failed to score.

I think we are dealing with a moving target since guys will build points and then jump in the hunt draw. And of course, if OFW decides to change the number of tags available.

Step up and just keep swinging the bat!

LAST EDITED ON May-16-14 AT 03:58PM (MST)[p]Sure I'll play. Here is what I'm in for:

Deer - Murderers Creek with 6 points as party leader so should be good to go!
Elk - Mt Emily #2 - 6 points so hardly likely
Antelope - Whitehorse #2 with 6 so hardly
Sheep - Aldrich #2 - a sure thing:)
Goat - Elkhorn #1 - maybe???

On the deer hunt I decided to burn my points and have an out of state buddy come up to hunt. I know our deer hunting is hardly great but he really wants to bring his 7 & 10 year old out to experience a hunt so figured what the heck. It will be a fun time regardless but I sure hope I can get him in front of a buck!!

Good luck to everyone on your draws!

Antelope Warner #2 6pts
Goat Hate Point #1
Sheep Whitehorse
Elk Mnt Emily 10pnts
Deer Juniper Muzzy 6pts

Not worried about getting drawn in Oregon all my hopes are riding on Nevada Elk or Sheep. Wife has 14 points across the board in Oregon hope she draws so my son can shoot something in the mentor program. Good luck to all. JB

Deer-Juniper Muzzy,
Antelope-Beatty's Butte East,
Elk-Points

As a non-resident with 13 points, I am just in it to help the good taxpayers of Oregon state. But, I am overdue for Unit 21 Nevada--now, that would make my day. Good luck, all.

Warner2 antelope 11 points
Columbia basin deer 0 points
Elk Walla Walla any bull 9 points

Sheep and goat are a pipe dream,

Rich

Zim,

You did the math the same as I did last year. HF is wrong! Hope you draw the tag this year and tag a big bull - good luck!

Horniac

With other conflicting hunts I decided to sitting out this year and apply for points only except for the Hail Mary sheep app. This way next year I will have 18 points for antelope and elk along with 10 points for deer. As a NR I will have to wait 2 years to use my top points due to Oregon's guide welfare.

Zim, I will be very interested to know how your hunt goes if you draw.

Bill

What the heck....
Antelope:Warner archery-0 pp (drew Warner #1 2013)
Deer:Juniper muzzleloader-11 pp
Elk:Mnt Emily #2-10 pp
Goat:Wenaha-Never know
Sheep:Can't apply (drew Steen's 2011)

Deer: Metloius Muzzle loader (7) pp
Elk: Mt Emily #2 (3)pp
That's it here. I'm done with Sheep and Antelope in Oregon and Don't have time for a Goat hunt, so I didn't apply this year.

Oh here's mine:
N. Malheur River Antlerless Elk (1 point, not much chance)
Silvies Deer (3 points 70%ish chance)

Got lucky on my second choice Elk last year so maybe I can do the same this year since I probably won't get a tag.
If I can't get a Deer tag this year I may switch to Steens since I will be really close to getting that tag.

Good luck to all!
