The year after she took her first buck, I sent my daughter away to college, but she made me promise that I would fly her home every year for deer season as long as her grades were good. Well, with a 4.0 GPA and after quick flight home from the UofA, my daughter took another dandy buck in D16 this year!
That's 3 years....and 3 bucks for her! Spotted this guy almost a mile away and, when he disappeared into a draw and didn't come out, we figured he had bedded down. Decided to give it a try and move in on him. As we got close, she spotted him trying to sneak out and lowered the BOOM on him. I've taken bucks over 30 inches and NONE of them will ever compare to ANY of her bucks....and the memories that we have!!!!
BTW, as per the GPS, we were right at 4 miles from the truck at the time. When were were all done and back at the truck her final comment was..."I can't wait until next year." I am truley BLESSED!!!
