feds taking more Calif lands........

....you are right on top of things Manny.....

....a million more are on the fast track to monument status...Cady mountains very soon.

The left will not stop till it is all off limits to the heathens.

Taken from the Vacaville Reporter:

In December, at a public meeting about the future of the area with federal, state and local officials, Boxer urged President Obama to use his executive authority to make the designation. Boxer and (Mike)Thompson first introduced the bill in the 112th Congress, and again in the 113th Congress.

While in January, Assemblyman Bill Dodd, along with Sens. Lois Wolk and Mike McGuire and Assemblyman Jim Wood, introduced a resolution in the California Legislature to petition President Barack Obama to create the Berryessa Snow Mountain National Monument.

At the moment, I know very little about the effect this designation will have on our rights to use the land. It seems to me it is already public land, therefore, it's protected to a certain extent. Another issue I have, is in the first paragraph above. The words "executive authority". I know every President uses this authority, but that doesn't make it right. This single phrase is about the only reason anyone needs to oppose this.

It seems these Politicians may have a monetary gain to be made as well. Many know Feinstein and Boxer have both pushed various pieces of legislation through in the past, that directly benefited their husband's pocket book via gov't contracts and things of similar fashion. I have more reading to do tomorrow to reinforce the negative feelings I harbor about the designation.

The proponents views are nicely sugar coated in most articles I have read! They would make most sheeple follow right along with the designation!

I'm from Cali lived there 90% of my life back in the 80's Fish n game purchased a 3000 acre ranch from a friend of mine, i basically cut my teeth on hunting that ranch, knew it well, using revenue from license sales i presume; only after a couple of years they forked it over to the BLM.

which BLM went through the ranch locked all gates made one main entrance, now thats all fine and dandy people still can hunt the ranch mostly on horse back, but now i getting up there in age with my knees wearing out, so i can't walk it anymore...

thay have also done the same here in S oregon its called the soda mt wilderness are, it where many bucks summer, BLM did the same closed all gates making one main gate......

as i said it has its benefits but only to the youthful and strong...IDK that old ranch is sentimental to me so now all i can do is reminisce.....just saying

Thanks Manny for the info.
The feds are locking up all the headwaters, all the natural resources, and in the process of locking you, the outdoor public, out of hunting, fishing and recreating , on public land. Just like Agenda 21 states. Our government bought into the U.N,s treaty from a few years back, it's all part of the plan.
