I would suggest you get on the CA dept. of fish and wildlife website. They have a list of licensed guides for the State. On the list it gives names, area they live and what species they guide etc. they have the best access to private land....Do your homework on the guides and check
references. I would suggest booking a hunt from the San Francisco Bay Area North. Napa, Sonoma, Mendencino Counties or up I-5 from Williams to Red Bluff. Different types of terrain so again do your homework. Never did a hunt like that myself so good luck.
