First bird ever for my buddy, and with a bow it was an awesome experience for both of us..First time i set up, called and basically guided someone for a bird. This old tom read the script and came in on a string to 20 yards and one arrow put him in the back of the truck!!!

That is Steve H and he was super stoked to shoot that bird with his bow..it was picture perfect, we had been sitting awhile with no activity and then I yelped a couple times and bam!!! A gobble from behind us pretty close.i then purred a couple times and went silent and right on que he came in looked at the funky chicken Jake decoy we had with a hen and went straight to it.He walked right up to the Jake and chest bumped him, at this point steve was at full draw and asking when. I wanted to see if the tom would knock the Jake around but knew my partner was getting nervous so I told him to let loose...One well placed arrow to the chest and that bird went two steps and was done for. The high fives and yeeehaaa commenced and then it was picture time for the happy hunter and novice guide lol..
