Final bird of the year

Put the smack down on the biggest bird yet this mid morning, been a long frustrating turkey season this year. I once again harvested 3 birds with stick and string as I set out to do. This bird was finally clear for a shot @ 27 yards and game over, 12 inch beard and average spurs but the longest beard for me. Now I need to get my buddy on at least one more before its over. Then we can get after some coyotes before fire season takes over...

Thx guys, and yes you would win your 2 dollar wager..I don't apologize for having private ground to hunt these birds, I've put in the work to get the access. I applaud everyone who are successful on public ground with the competition and hassles of public ground. I definitely know that Bow hunting turkeys on private lends to a higher level of success with more undisturbed birds to call too. I love chasing these damn thunder chickens and can't wait until next season already ...lol
