ne elk photos

i don't post much, but would like to see a few larger elk harvested in the north east elk unit. i drew and would like to see photos of harvested elk and some trail cam pics. i dont expect some locations or hints as im looking at the experience, experience is key, hard working elk hunter, elk nut to the max. only harvested a few elk.

Can't say that I have every seen a NE bull pictured here before so I don't think you will see to many pics.

That is an awesome bunt. Not a slam dunk though, by any means. I pulled the tag a few years back. Was on a very nice bull but couldn't seal the deal. The zone is huge.. Don't get caught up jumping around. Find an area with good sign and elk and hunt the hell out of it. I wouldn't mind dropping you some tips. I'm out of town now though. When I return I'll pull my maps.

Here are a few bulls from my NE hunt. I have picts of bigger bulls, but they're on another computer. Nothing giant though. It's definitely not a slam dunk hunt. I ate my tag because I didn't see anything worth shooting. They also never made a sound on my hunt, which was shocking as it was cold for my hunt with some rain and hail too.

The upper and lower pict are the same bull, which I was told was shot by a guy driving the Loveness Road and scored a hair under 350" gross.



Look closely below and you'll see an arrow sticking out of the bull's back and the shadow of the arrow too.
