ANY OF THE D7 HUNTERS KNOW HOW MUCH DAMAGE THE ROUGH FIRE HAS DONE TO THE WISHION/ KINGS RIVER AREA ???? ITS PUSHING 130,000 ACRES OF FIRE DAMAGE. OR EVEN THE D8 DAMAGE FOR THAT MATTER. NOT A PRETTY PICTURE FOR THE LANDSCAPE OR HUNTING..............................YD.

I was looking at a map of the fire it up around the Spanish lake trail and upper Rancheria and lower. it looks like if you hunt the north side of the wishon road or the same thing on the dinky creek rd. I think the probably headed back up to the high country. Also it is in the crown valley area cabin creek which is close to chain lakes I think we need to focuses on the north side of dinky mountain. I hope this helps you Danny the turtle

LAST EDITED ON Sep-14-15 AT 07:05PM (MST)[p]My kid's been on the Valley fire in Middletown since saturday which is about 35 minutes from my house.
I awoke yesterday to a blanket of ash at my place.

Wicked fire.
About 1,000 structures destroyed so far.

hey thanks for the pics that was great but the valley fire is at 100 plus miles north of us here in central. but still its a shame usfs waited to jump on this fire. we will never in our life time the beauty of our forest again damn tree huggers anyway

I spent 20 days on the rough fire and probably heading back for more. That area really needed to burn some time ago. While it may look bad now it was much need. The deer heard should explode there in the coming years

That second pic was dubbed the highway to hell pic and it went around Facebook for a while during the first fire around the clear lake area

I thought I'd seen that photo before. It's been a brutal fire season.

Eel
Guns are like parachutes. If you need one and don't have one you probably will never need one again.

Eel it could have even been one of the Washington fires! I'm not to familiar with the clear lake country but what I have see was mostly white oak and live oak not a fir forest like that pic.

The drought you guys are in its no surprise. U should see the forest out here after the pine beatles went thru, 95% standing dead. The day it sparks up is gonna be ugly. Heard there was 1 death so far, hope that's all. Be safe to those fightin it and those tryin to get out of its path.

The fires this year are unreal. Built my house out in Pope Valley with blm land as my back yard. Had a couple of close calls with fires over the years, but this Valley Fire is the worse i can remember. God bless all the fire fighters...

I got sent a bunch of pics and assumed it was of the Valley Fire.
Thanks for clarifying!
