Cali's drought? ...do u agree

No question that our "drought" is due in significant part to absurd left-wing "environmental" policies and hypocritical agendas. That being said, there is a lot of waste that goes largely unchecked. I recently stayed at a hotel in SF and the shower heads in this hotel were like fire hoses. The amount of water that went down the drain when I showered that morning was criminal. Multiply that by hundreds, if not thousands, every day in that hotel and you have enough water for a several households for a year. Heaven forbid anyone regulate the hotel industry in the biggest left-wing whacko commune in the state! FWIW though, farmers are just as bad. As a farmer myself who has become more water conscious and water-educated in the last couple years, it astounds me to drive around the valley and see unbelievable waste of water resources by farmers who are either ignorant or just don't care. Farmers, in general, are a stubborn lot. They are hell-bent on continuing to do things the way their fathers and grandfathers did despite scientific evidence to show that they're just throwing money down the drain, literally. Generally, I'm opposed to more and more legislation, particularly when it comes to the farming industry. But there needs to be a huge mandatory "education drive" for farmers in the valley to try and teach and persuade them that they can be more water conscious and, in doing so, will actually save money and see higher yields.
