Put an arrow in this guy @11 yards this morning on a beautiful spring day in the turkey woods..lots of gobbling and activity. Kinda a tweener bird..6 1/2 beard and small spurs but I'm not real picky with stick and string.

Yeah, don't worry, if i was out doing it myself, i'd be posting it up too.

I'm not much of a turkey guy but they really look amazingly beautiful the way you do your photos. also, do you have any close calls, or otherwise, with mean old boar story's or pic's to share with us?

I've been on restrictions with the pigs, lol my freezer is kind of full and my meat cutter buddy said no more pigs please hahaha..he's always busting my hump about being trigger happy with the porkers..all in good fun though. I purposely didn't buy any tags so I wouldn't be tempted.

Kind of getting off the original post, so I'll say nice bird JR first. Then I'll comment on "did somebody get greedy? Of course they did. Hasn't the fish and wildlife started talking about selling tags to be able to shoot coyotes? They want to make a buck any way they think they can. Over $22 for an out of control nuisance. Classic!
