I drew G37!

I drew G37, does anybody have any advice besides pray for snow? I have never drew this tag before. Thank you for the help and good luck to everybody else in their draws.

Congrats! I drew it several years ago. Fun but tough hunt with no snow. With snow its an awesome experience.

Awesome draw! Congrats! Its a great tag to have in your pocket especially if there is weather. The best advice I can give you is to go scout it, not so much to find deer but more to learn the area as this is a migration dependent hunt and the deer you find early season will most likely be long gone by the time your hunt rolls around. If the right weather hits the bucks will be there. I spend a lot of time in the area after the general season looking for quail and bears as it is only an hour drive from where I live. The obvious areas to conentrate on are near the Yosemite National Park borders. The weather conditions were very good last season and we saw lots of bucks and several shooters in the area during both the archery and rifle season. The best buck we saw was around a 27 in. 5x4 during the archery hunt. He was bedded at 35 yards when we spotted him and we could have shot him all day had we had a tag. Best of luck to you this year.
