Stud blacktail finally home..

Found these sheds off of a stud buck a couple years ago and have been following him every since. He's a private land buck and only shows up during the rut to breed the does.. last year he was a heavy 4x4 and didn't have the drop tine.
Knowing I'll never probably get to hunt this guy before a lion or car gets him or old age I had his best drop tine set mounted.
He turned out better than expected and is a great representative of pure blacktail genes for a West side of the North Valley deer.

Looks pretty close on the width scale. The right brow tine is world class.

Not fort jones, and he's pretty close to original width, probably see him again this November with his does..hoping he has the dropper again but won't be surprised if he's a heavy 4x4 like last year..he will probably die of old age due to where he lives and when he shows up..
