This will be the year the drought ends. 12" of rain in 24 hrs. "We didn't act soon enough on climate change."

When it rains in the burn area , they'll say it's a land slide / mud slide hazard , another excuse to close public land . I've seen it 1st hand and so have many others whether they comment or not

Does anyone have a map showing which area of D8 burned? I was thinking of picking up a D8 tag and taking my young grandson on an adventure. North of Lake Isabella past Johnsondale.
Thanks

Homer Thank You! I've hunted the G6 late season west of the river before but never during the regular season. Thought it would be an easy hunt and a great adventure for an old man and a 8 year old. Please keep us informed if you see any up dates later on.

Lot of area to hunt, fire on greenhorn and north of that. And West of greenhorn.

All of cherry hill rd and east of that sherman pass and all that country. North of johns dale

good. There should be pockets north of greenhorn, just guessing on that. Good luck
