This is a heads up for those of you that do not know of or have not heard of the California veto referendum that is in the process of gathering signatures.
We have printed one million petition signature pages for each of the seven new anti gun laws that Gov Brown just signed.
Each petition needs 365,000(or so)valid voter registered signatures by the end of Sept. and they will go on the 2018 ballot to be voted on by the people.
They may or may not pass then, but the biggest benefit is the new laws will not go into effect until the 2018 vote. That gives us two more years instead of becoming law Jan 1, 2017.
The website is vetogunmageddon.org, and you can go there and enter your zip code in the Petition Locator link and it will show the closest places to you that you can go sign.
The petitions were delivered to signing locations around August 12, and the volunteer network has been amazing. It seems that So-Cal areas are doing extremely well gathering signatures.
I am not directly involved in this besides donating $$ and trying to spread the word.
