Hi guys,
I've been enjoying reading through the forum and since I drew X6A, I'd like to pick some brains w a few questions.
First, I've got the first 10 days off of the season and will be bringing my 9 y/o son. I really want to dedicate as much time as needed to be successful. Being from Sac, I'm planning on driving up with my travel trailer and quad and setting up camp in the forest as a base and then go out on the quad or on foot daily. So the question: where would you recommend that would be accessible with a trailer? I've been looking at Brady's Camp but the website says not recommended for RV's/trailer. I don't mind a little rough road as long as I don't go tumbling down the mountain.
Also, I might not be able to get up there for scouting until the Wednesday before the opener. Would anyone mind giving me a general tip in which area of the unit to focus? I was leaning toward either Antelope lake and use one of those CG's or Grizzly ridge area. Any help is much appreciated.
Happy hunting
