What zone/season is my best bet to draw antelope tag with 5 points i've never hunted lope just been trying to build points for the right year.

I drew back in 2003 with 3 points for Surprise Valley,and I know some people have been trying to draw for 20 years.

Yeah, it took my hunting partner 40 years ! Good luck !

Highly doubt you can draw with five points maybe a archery tag! I have max and haven't drawn yet doubt I will for a couple more years.

And if you do draw it will be on the random... shoot for what ever area has the highest tag quota

Ok thanks everyone didn't think it would be that tough. May be taking a trip to Wyoming or Montana to bag a lope. He's on my bucket list.

Nevada archery have ok odds to draw in a couple years with 5 or less points try there,I know two people that have drawn Cali with less then max on a random tags so it can happen.

Good luck with that, I have been putting in for 25 years and have not drawn a tag
I'm pretty lucky on most things but not an antelope license in California
I have max points and have had every year since the start of the current regs
Put in for years before with no luck but I am confident I will draw this year.
Too old to hold my breath
