Mt. lion petition sign it...

"If we were to abolish this proposition and allow the mountains lions to be hunted and trapped, we would be balancing out our ecosystem, and the deer population would start to return to a healthier level."

Is there a pathway to abolish a law passed by the voters other than through the courts that can declare the law unconstitutional?

grass.....I seem to recall that in 1990 when Prop 900 (Mtn Lion Protection Act) passed, one of the provisions was that to be changed or abolished, a two-thirds vote was needed to succeed. I doubt that will ever happen in this state.

With the above being said.......we should never stop trying.

I signed it. I was just wondering what the plan was. Now that you mentioned it, I think you're right.

It can be disheartening dealing with a rigged system like calif, but we gotta keep trying for conscience sake, even the guy Trump elected to the Dept of interior put a federal halt to the lead ban but I just got word calif is ignoring it....go figure

Email me what ? I already signed it but I was curious if there is a set time to get the signatures ? And how many

It takes a set number of signatures to get a proposition on the ballot, and they have to be real signatures on real paper. An internet petition is more of a feeler to see how many respond. At best.
