Ca deer sheds.

Taking my sons to convict lake for the fourth of July weekend .Was hoping to do some shed hunting.was wondering if anyone has an idea how much the snow affected the deer.as far as elevation is concerned.going to try Sherwin pass area.anyone have a better idea please feel free to pm me.i live in San diego so I can't scout areas also not searching for anyone's honey holes.just an idea for a starting point.any info would be greatly appreciated.....
