Drew A7 this year, will be my first time hunting this zone. Does anyone have any insight on a good starting point to find some good bucks. I'm looking for 150"+....any information will me much appreciated!!!

There are 160+ bucks in that unit BUT as much as any unit I've ever hunted, a good area one year can be substandard the next.

With our wet winter, and a 160" goal, I would concentrate on the area west of 139, north of the lake. And the very northwest portion of the lake to 44.

The lava beds just past Merrill CG can hold a good buck or two some years.

Top of Worley Mt is another good, big buck spot.
