A15 (X8) 2017 Season

Hey guys,

I drew A15 this archery season.

Been scouting a bunch of areas that are mountainous such as the mountains along HWY4.

I decided to head out hwy 89 towards 395 Monitor pass. The terrain sure does change quickly. Even though it's open area, the brush looks high.

I was wondering if anyone has experience hunting that stretch of HWY 89. Is so, like to learn a little bit of deer behavior out there. Not looking for your honey hole, more on how to hunt that type of area.

LAST EDITED ON Jul-31-17 AT 01:19PM (MST)[p]I hunted x8 rifle last year. Scouted areas off hwy 4 3 times all multiple nights. Deer densities are very low. Good luck.

I never did make it to check anything off 89 but I was close.
