Cali antelope

So I know the draws are not closed yet so if some of you are waiting till the last minute I have some advise if u want it. Im referring to goat tags. I had max points and couldn't draw a rifle tag so I decided to put in for archery and bam got a tag. I drew likely tables and have never been to the unit before. I arrived 1 1/2 days before the season with info acquired from f&g and awesome people on forums. I killed my buck on Sunday of opening weekend. So it's not impossible to kill one with a bow lol. I just wanted to post this to see if it helps any one and I would be more than happy to help out for whoever draws the tag. I have maps and pointers that was shown to me. Good luck guys.

Both. Almost had a shot on a beaded buck but some other antelope we didn't know were there busted us and he ran out to 80 yards. Just a little to far. So the next day we set up the blind and got lucky with this buck!

I just drew the Likely Tables archery hunt as well. I wouldn't mind picking your brain if that's cool. I have never been to the unit either but plan on scouting at least one weekend before the season starts. Any info you would like to share would be greatly appreciated, thx.

>Congrats on the archery antelope.

Ya man I love to rifle hunt also but like I always say rather be lucky than good! I got lucky and killed a decent buck with stick and string.
