Anyone heard any recent news or seen any signs of the Lassen pack? Haven't seen anything since they killed a cow in October, just curious which deer unit they are doing a number on this spring/ summer. Last I seen they were just west of Sure.

Haven't heard to much about wolves eating deer especially if there's no snow to slow them down

Couple weeks ago one was in eldarado county I think,it was just south of I-80 near the PCT

I would have to believe the wolves could take out fawns pretty easy and if they would feed on lion kills then the Lions will be killing more dear. Either way it can't be good for the deer poulation.

Well the bennifeit of wolves will be in the reduction of coyotes so it's a toss up if they are bad or not, wolves will kill any coyotes they come across

Wolves are okay because they eat coyotes. That's like saying burning your house down is good because it gets rid of the rats. :D

Talk to all the boys in Idaho the deer herd is doing great in a lot of areas since the wolves have taken over and removed the elk, that state has been putting out monsters the last 5 years
