I took 6x7's advice and applied for the Cache Creek cow elk tag. I have just been offered the tag as the second alternate in the draw. Thanks for the advice, and to any of you who might have passed this tag along to me.
I am hoping the entire place does not burn to the ground during the summer. I am a few hours north of the unit and unable to monitor it closely, so I would surely appreciate any updates as they develop from those MMers living nearby. Thanks in advance.
