LAST EDITED ON Jul-25-18 AT 08:57AM (MST)[p]A friend of mine sent me an email with these photos. SUPER COOL photo sequence of a dandy blacktail belly crawling under a fence.
Here's the story...
A few nights ago I watched this buck come off the hill behind my house. I went inside, gathered my two aspiring 7 year old buck hunters at the window to watch the group go out into the front field for the evening. All the little bucks jumped the hog wire fence before getting to the board fence entry way. This guy dropped down belly crawled under the fence and off he went. I was so blown away I grabbed my Stealth cams and set them out the next evening about two hours before dusk. Sure enough right at dark the bachelor group started off the hill. I was like a kid on Christmas hoping he was going under the fence again. Sure enough, He did!! I immediately ran out after they moved into the field and grabbed the cards. That gap is only 14 inches he went under. Pretty nice blacktail cross at that. Makes a guy wonder when he sees a coyote/rabbit trail go into a brush patch if Mr. Big is in there taking a nap. Beat every bush this fall! (Disregard time and date, it was default settings) Happened July 23rd about 9:00 in the evening.
