Loving the choice to get this new smoke pole, son in law broke it in on a buck a week ago and yesterday I smoked a yote at 256 yrds and 10 minutes later a nice sow at 120 yrds. 1 more deer tag in Cali and then off to Idaho for whitetails..this guns going to get more work before it's over????

Sweet JR! Picked up a Tikka SL in 6.5 this summer. After got it dialed, my 1st shot group at 500yds was ~3in (although 5in left of center, gotta work on that). Not that I'd be comfortable right now shooting at game that far, just trying to figure out what I can do with it. No lead sled, standing, stable rest.

Hope to break it in on a pig next weekend....assuming I can get my daughter on an X4 buck this weekend, otherwise my hunting will be on hold till she fills her tag
