Foxpro shockwave and the whirly bird decoy..badass combo, lighting jack and woodpecker with some vocals and pup in distress seems to always work for me..

Do you ever go to just coyote vocals?

Gunna hunt the 1st weekend of February, dark of the moon. Food sounds haven't been successful lately so I was thinking all yote vocals, and stay on stand longer.

Thoughts.

Jeff,

I haven't been successful with food sounds lately although I do like the lighting jack sound.

I'm hunting the first weekend of February since it's the dark of the moon.

Ever use just yote sounds?

That's my plan, and stay on the stand longer.

Thoughts?

I have used vocals with some success in the past and in some ranches..others the rabbit or woodpecker work just fine..I'm also starting to use hand calls again to mix it up some..good luck in feb, I'm headed to a ranch in central cali to put some work in on thier hogs and squirrels and maybe some dog calling..then I'm headed to coalinga to chase more hogs with an old partner from avenal..I'm loving all this free time..lol
