Other Supplies in Jarbridge?

Glad to see diesel is there. Headed there next week for a bit of scouting/camping and wonder what kind of grocery store they have there? The locals must need a decent store there. Is there more than just ice/beer/soda and stuff or is there meat and produce to be had?

Mountain City might have it as there was a small store there that was owned or run by "Shorty" who also had the Motel close there too.

mt city has nothing.......but continue on into the duck water res just into Idaho....the Owyhee store there has full groceries...very good.

I suggest coming in from the East side from Rogerson, Idaho. Plenty of fuel, groceries and small restaurant. Hollister is about 10 miles North with more fuel and lots more groceries.
I love the Jarbidge area but would not plan on getting supplies in town. It is very small and they may or may not have what you need. Fuel will be expensive. fatrooster

Had a great time and quick trip to the area I'll be hunting in late October. Saw many good bulls that were not too worried by our presence. Gonna be a different story when hunters hit the field!

This pic was hand held behind my spotting scope, I don't have the stuff that guys use for this. Anyway, I'd take this guy on day one!

CHWino, have you been seeing any deer on your scouting trips? I'm headed that way for 9 days to hunt deer. I'll keep you posted on what I see for elk.

We saw antelope, deer and elk. More elk than anything else. Was hoping to find a shooter buck, but never really did.

Nice pic, Thx for sharing. We also saw a few dandies scouting last month. My bro and I will be chasing them come Sept 17. Can't wait...oh yes I can as I'm chasing Bulls in the Gila prior to that...I'm Blessed.. Jarbidge is big country and we saw big Bulls top to bottom. Still haven't decided where to start yet.
