One tag. One season. One weapon.

We are 18 days away from draw results, so let's hear about it. If you could draw one Nevada tag, one season, one weapon, what would it be?

Desert sheep for sure 24 points and counting. #2 archery lope #3archery deer. Sorry I know you said one but lol. What's yours

Desert Sheep as well. I have 15 points so I'm a bit behind, but I did throw for a couple of units that I have a chance at. I hope you get your tag!

Good luck to you also and seems like middle of the road points draw. If you don't mind me asking what units did you put in for?

California Bighorn Sheep, Followed by Muzzleloader Bull Elk. These last couple weeks until the draw just about kill me every year.

It was sad to see the disease event with some of our California Bighorn over the winter, but hopefully that was taken care of. Good luck - hope you get your tag.

I'm one and done on sheep. Big mule deer are all that really trip my trigger. Likely 241.

I've hunted deer in a few different states including Idaho, Colorado, Utah, and Arizona (Kaibab), but a Nevada mule deer hunt is still my favorite deer hunt. Good luck in the draw. Hopefully I'm hunting desert sheep near where you are hopefully hunting giant mule deer.

Normally ide pick a mule deer hunt, but since I have a mule deer hunt already in another state that would conflict with the NV mulie units im looking at, I passed on trying to draw this year. Ide be stoked with a Late Rifle Elk hunt.

It doesn't always work out, but at least one mule deer hunt each year is a great goal. If you draw your late elk tag up north, please don't hesitate to contact me if you have questions. Good luck.

Nice - a little change from all of us hopeful sheep hunters! Good luck to you as well. If I remember correctly the department is recommending the same number of tags for bear as last year.

Shedneck, Thank You for your gracious offer, I really appreciate it. I only have 7 points going into the draw so I got that going against me, but you never know in NV? I did put in for one of the Northern Units late hunts. I've been dreaming about it for a few years now, ill let you know if I get lucky. Goodluck in the draws.

My passion is hunting lions with hounds. I can hunt year round and have 2 tags. Never stop learning. I get to see all kinds of animals other than lions as well. My second favorite hunt is antelope. Deer doesn't get me too excited and elk is a lot of work. Once every few years is fine for me. But a sheep or goat tag would be nice. Haha.

Desert sheep would be the obvious choice, but I guess I'll be different and say archery elk, 111-114. Odds of me getting that are in same range as a sheep tag!

111-115 Muzzleloader Bull tag. I drew desert sheep with 7 points in 2014. Not bragging, just giving all you sheep fanatics hope. I realize how damn lucky I was. It was one of the best hunts I have ever been on!
Best of luck to all!

What unit did you draw for Desert? Can you post a picture of your ram? Good luck in the draw - only four days away.

I drew 268. Had a lot of fun chasing sheep. I passed on quite a few and shot this guy the last day I could hunt. He's not the biggest Ram but he was wild and a hell of a lot of fun to hunt!

LAST EDITED ON May-24-16 AT 11:09AM (MST)[p]Thanks for sharing and congratulations again. I'm hoping that at least one of my friends (or me) draws a sheep tag this year just to experience another sheep hunt. They are unlike any other hunt.
