Sometimes we're lucky to get a tag in an area that we may not be familiar with. We all can't scout the entire state prior to applying so we just take what we get and give it hell. Better to hunt new country then sit home. I've been fortunate to have hunted and guided in numerous areas in Nevada. My offer to help with info always stands. I don't care if you have one post or 10000 posts here on MM. If I've been in your area I'll help you out the best I can.

BucCrazy, I killed a buck that at the time would have been the only buck from Esmeralda County that would have been in the Nevada Record Book. I killed him on the south side of Magruder out in the desert. Look low

I just gave a guy some info on the same hunt as my boys has this year, heck he could end up shooting a bull we might be going after, but that's ok, I've met another hunter that is a stand up guy and family so i'm richer for it also! I almost always try to help!

I will be sending you a message or call about 076-081 elk, been there a lot already, but always want more LOL

Wes--my hunting buddy and I got drawn for 171-173 early mule deer buck. I have been in the area once before, several years ago. Saw a lot of deer but no bucks I wanted to put my tag on. I could use some help.

I think you really mean you hate 'typing'. Didn't know what tipping had to do with things (thought maybe you meant tipping people off on public forums). This is a great gesture. Wish I'd drawn something so I could take advantage of it.

Awful nice of you, Wes. I also wasn't sure what you meant by tipping but after your last post, I figured out you meant typing.
Don't you have an outfitting business? If I had the money...and a tag, you'd be the type of guy I'd hire to help. Good things come to those who are good.

Wes helped me on my mule deer tag two years ago. Called him up and he dropped everything that he was doing and relayed some great info to me a non-res. Ended up eating tag soup, but was a great hunt due to his info. He is a hell of good guy! If I get out to the Grantsville area anytime soon I owe you a couple of cold ones!
