Hey All,
A buddy of mine drew this tag. He is brand new to hunting, and I am somewhat new with only two years of experience under the belt.
Both of those years have been in area 6, so I have a decent idea of areas to look in. The tag is October 22-November 5. Has anyone had this tag before? What sort of terrain will the bulls be hanging out in? Not asking for GPS coordinates or anything, just a general idea of where to focus the scouting.
Also, if anyone has some pictures of bulls taken from this area, I'd appreciate knowing what's out there. What size of bull can he hope for, and what should we pass on? Given both of our inexperience, it's likely we'll take the first mature bull we can.
I'm willing to trade what information I have on the area. I have taken an early cow, and was one of the lucky few who managed to fill my cow elk/deer combo tags last year, so feel free to hit me up.
