My friend has won the tag and will be looking for the location of the biggest buck in Nevada..
Landowners, guides,or anyone (with experience) is welcome to pm me to see if you have what he is looking for. He understand nothing is free!
Thanks

He is looking for a 30 inch non typical . He would sacrifice width for (trash).
I know he is asking for a lot but I think Nevada still holds these type of deer.
Thanks for helping me make my post a little clearer.

It almost sounds like someone wanting to know which area to put in for next year. The outfitters will be contacting the tag holder, wouldn't have to ask for help on a website just my opinion

LAST EDITED ON Jul-11-16 AT 03:00PM (MST)[p]Nothing is free, but if they are charging for information, make sure they are a fully licensed guide with the state, especially since its the dream tag. Fish and Game will be watching very closely. Even offering to pay for food, or gas considers it a guided hunt. You would hate to lose that once in a lifetime buck, and hunting privileges over a little information and a tank of gas.

If I had the tag I would focus on unit 19,021, 033 and 20 if im on the west side of the state, and 27, 24, and 22 on the south east side. Most units in the state have the chance at a big buck, just some are harder to find then others. And hunt as late as you possible can.

Actually, nevada trapper, as long as you do not help in the field scouting is ok. Are you saying that it is illegal for a buddy of mine to pay for the gas to go look at a buck I found?

Guided or info on good buck as long as he is not breaking any laws as Nevada Trapper
Had mentioned. He knows he will be contacted by other guides I just thought it would helpful
to get the word out on this website also. Just trying to help.

What are the season dates for this tag? If it's the dream tag it's not the same as the governors/heritage tag. I think it is more like the PIW tag.

its sounds stupid, but yes that is illegal if you pay for a buddies gas to even go scouting. There was a friend of my dads who took us on horses during my dads elk hunt. He told us where he has seen them during the summer and ideas on where to hunt. My dad offered to pay for his gas to get out there and the guy refused. He said he had been questioned by fish and game in the past because he does this every year, and he cant even accept any of our food or they can consider it guiding.

It's not the silver state tag it is the "dream tag" I'm not sure but I think he can hunt any open season like the PIW tag not august 1 threw December 31sto like the silver state tag and heritage tag. Still a great tag to have!
