I'll be headed up to area 6 for the early season on the 9th. First time into the unit. Thanks to some help from my home town friends, I have an area in mind for the opener. Hopefully, it's not too crowded with other hunters, otherwise, it will be back to the drawing board as to where to hunt. I have my pack, so does dad, and we are looking to get up high, above 8k-9k+ and glass into the snow brush. Would anyone be willing to send over a few pointers for a fall back plan on area 6? I have the pack tent for spike camping and prefer to use it. I have one week to hunt.
