262 Mule Deer

Since I had to surrender a tag last year due to a buddy getting married on Opening weekend, I have more than enough points to draw a close to home tag. Thinking of applying for Archery in this Unit and plan to set multiple cams this summer.

Outside of the normal research online just wondering what others have experienced with this unit for Muley's? Not looking for your area/spot, just getting a general consensus of the unit and avg deer harvested.

How many points do you have? I spend tons of time on this unit throughout the year. While this is a great unit I don't think its worth the points it takes to draw. It's a high point unit because its close to vegas. If you have enough points to draw 262 then you have enough to draw a great unit farther north. If close to home is all you care about then go for it. If not go north.
 
I've got 4 points for deer and for Archery shouldn't be an issue drawing based on the statistics over the past few years, I hope.

Reason for this unit is it's close to home and I also have Utah Rifle Deer season that runs during or close to the same time frame as NV Rifle.

As for the friend piece, he knows that he's on my S&^% list for getting married during Hunting Season. He'll never live that one down lol.
