Archery Deer 114-115

My wife drew an archery mule deer tag for 114-115 this year. I've never hunted this zone. I did spend some time in 231 on a previous rifle deer hunt with a buddy. Im just looking from some general recommendations for the unit. Would you recommend backpacking into the higher elevations to be able to get into better bucks?
I know in 231 we established a base camp and packed into Parsnips Peak and White Rocks and used a quad to get up on table top.
Just need an experienced opinion on what's necessary to reach the better bucks.

Me and my brother have archery tags too. The elk hunters are thick. If your on any 2 track you will have lots of sxs traffic!

Yes it did! Thank you!
I am having trouble open the links correctly but will try it again when I get home today!
Thanks again!

Just copy the GPS coordinates from the link and throw them in google. Should come up no problem.

I drew this unit for archery mule deer as well. I'll be doing lots of scouting in both units before season opens. Idk how familiar you are with the area or if your doing any scouting, but I don't mind helping a fellow hunter out. I hope to see you out there! Good luck this year!

I have spent time in the north end of 231 but have never set foot in 114 or 115. I knew my wife had decent odds to draw a tag and this area has much better bucks than the Rubies. Dont get me wrong I love packing into the Rubies. I'll only probably have one short scouting trip before the season. I'll have to rely on others and some research to put us in a good area. My wife is in great shape so we'll have no problems packing somewhere if necessary. My goal is to put her on some good bucks.
Good luck and let's stay in touch maybe we'll have the chance to give each other a hand!
