Hello all.
Going to be a busy August. Drew 011 antelope and 131 deer. My father has hunted 011 a few times, however it was always rifle so its going to be a little different. He also hunted 131, but that was over 30 years ago. I already scouted 011, and found out there is such thing as too much water. Literally water wherever you go, so nothing has to hit springs on a regular basis, at all for that matter. I also didn't see many antelope, but the biologist said that is because there's just too much water. Any suggestions would help tremendously for these two areas.
Also if anybody knows when the antelope horns stop growing I would appreciate it. I know mule deer in the next month grow tremendously, but I'm curious how much more if any an antelope buck will put on before the opener (Aug 01).
