Cool Program that NO&GA Offers

Pretty good of the Nevada Guides and Outfitters Association to offer this cool giveaway each year to a wounded hero. For any of you who can find a way to help out, it would be great. The hero's deserve a great hunt each year. Trey Humphrey is the 2017 hero who will be guided by Henry Krenka and Blain Jackson in November.

Not to be too much of a ##### but....

This is great. I love WW being helped out and it is a great giveaway with the exception of NOGA profiting from this. I always love the "tax deductible" crap. Non-profits do not exist because their purpose is solely to help others, it's to make money. Look at the donations already set forth by companies.

The fact that Vortex is donating that much stuff and the lodge is providing the Elk tag w/ lodging tells me the cost is not nearly as much. I will gladly take a WW on a trip and pay for all costs personally and utilize my equipment without asking for money from others.

No respect for "organizations" like this. They exist for one reason, money. I am sure I will take flack for this, but it is the damn truth. The money collected will FAR outweigh what is offered, to the point they could easily send multiple WW vets on a trip.

Now, show me books of your accepted donations for the cause compared to expenses and I might donate. We all know that will never happen.
