Kraft's is the go to around here.

There is also Alex Villegas out at the Hunter exit. I had my first cow elk done there before I started doing it myself and was happy with the quality.

I wouldn't recommend Kraft to anyone, but that's just me. Lots of bad reviews from more than just me.

Alex does great work. I have used him a few times as have several family members and friends.

Talked with a guy just a couple of days ago that took his antelope there. He said they were done with it the next day and was happy with the service.

I bought a half a grass fed beef from a local rancher that had it butchered at Kraft. This was a about 10 years ago. That one was pretty good. A couple of years after that, we had another half a beef, grass fed, from the same rancher, and the meat was pretty bad. We always suspected that the animal we brought in, may not have been the one we got back. We figured they cut up X pounds of beef, and when you come in to pick it up, you got beef back...just not your own.

I would like to think they have improved, as they should, as game processors around elko are pretty thin. Would be a helluva market for a butcher that knew what they were doing for a few months out of the year.

Thanks Guys my son used Alex and I have to say we have not got a cleaner or better job of cutting our meat in years.
Clean vacuumed sealed and boxed and taped.
