Black Rocks - Slumgullion question

Hey there, just curious if anyone has been up Slumgullion creek in the Black Rocks in the last year or so. I reached out to Soldier Meadows Ranch and they mentioned that the road had washed out but people still go up the road with ATVs a lot. Curious if anyone's seen or heard that is passable in a full size rig. Trying to get back to the old Chukkar camp and hoping 2016 didn't wipe out the last reasonable way that I know of to get in to the middle of that range.

I was in there from the North last year antelope hunting. Took a couple hours to get in there. There was a group of guys in there sheep hunting that said the road up Slumgullion was impassable. They had a SxS and a couple pickups. I was in a full suze pickup. We went all the way past big mountain.

I have some friends who hunted sheep out of Soldier Meadows earlier this year. They made it up Slumgullion daily in a lifted Jeep. He said the worst part was actually the bug dust down right out of the ranch. You should be fine in anything with decent ground clearance or a SXS or quad.

That is good to hear. The moon dust is definitely a trademark of the area. Just glad to hear its still passable. thanks for the good word!
