Are non residents not allowed to hunt mule deer with hunter hosts?

Only in archery season. Since archery licenses are unlimited, you can hunt then. But the only way to hunt mule deer in rifle season in Alberta is with an outfitter. There are no rifle licenses for nonresidents except through outfitter allocations.

Yes can get a mule deer license through the hunter host program as well as there are a number of zones throughout Alberta that are on a general tag. The best zones however are on draw and a hunter host tag will not be valid in them.
