LAST EDITED ON Jan-19-10 AT 07:48AM (MST)[p]Dave,

I didnt end up making it down this year. I was going through some serious withdrawals once January rolled around and I didn't find myself in MX with a gun in hand. I am glad to hear that you were able to tag out. Dave, you have great luck in MX! He sounds like a special buck and to be the only one shot in camp you cant be disappointed i'm sure. I received an email from a good friend of mine yesterday of some whoppers that were shot in MX last week. I would love to send them to you. Glad to hear you had a good time and made it home safe!

Jake

Appleman,
Caught the rut just right in Sonora this year. Every doe had an escort.
In just over four days of hunting - free range, no high fence, I saw 104 desert mule deer, including three trophy bucks, and many others worth considering.
Shot this buck at 10am of my fifth day (1/15). He had eight does with him.
Hunted Rancho El Carbon with German Rivas.
The hunt was a distinct pleasure, and this buck was my best (so far) 32" inside and 36"+ outside.
Wishing you all the best . . .
