I've been interested in hunting in mule deer in mexico, I would drive down, and either archery or rifle hunt. Any decent buck would do, it doesn't have to be a giant. How much, and what time of year is best in Mexico? Cheaper the better (poor boy who likes to hunt). Any advice welcome. Thanks.

$5,000.00 and up would be conservative is my guess and then hope that the Drug Cartel don't nail you first or the Mexican Army.

I can put you on a few different ranches near Hermosillo. The Mule Deer tag is $ 4800.00 plus gun permit $ 350.00

You'll see 10 bucks per day. 1/2 of them will be 170 type bucks. But you should be able to find a + 190 buck in a week long hunt.

What is the guide fee, sonoraoutfitter, or is that included in the deer tag. I would like some good number and better details, you can p.m. me. Me and some buddys are lookin into doing the hunt.

I can do $6,500.00 plus $2,000.00 Kill Fee if you are interested. Includes Lodging, food, drinks, gun permits, tag, and 6 hunting days. I have a website too.

Morty,
I have been down doing hunts for years in both Sonora and Chihuahua, I have a ranch we have hunted for 4 years now in Chihuahua and have taken some really good bucks, the hunt has been $3,500, add Coues for $2,000. E:mail me at [email protected] I live in Missouri, and can send you a few pictures.

I would personally fly down instead of driving. Cost is now $3,800 for fully guided, meals, lodging, transportation during the hunt and trophy care, add Coues for $2,200. 5 days for Mule Deer only or 10 days for both. About anytime after the first of January is when we conduct hunts. I usually take one group down of 3-4 hunters each year, only. I have only had 1 guy who came down with a bow and he was not successful. I thought he would b e and he was very patient. He sat stock watering tanks and had several deer come in, and one evening a huge buck, not sure how big only huge is what he said. He hung up at 50 yards and they guy was reluctant to try the shot, he had no gun with him. He borrowed a gun the next evening and never saw the buck again, but all of my gun hunters have connected.

I have 2 spots only, there are no additional kill fees, there is a gun permit of $150 and licenses of $650
